Unrelated to Ms. Christensen’s acting/modeling news — Chelsey was featured in an article on the cover of The Washington Post today!

Debt crisis, sure. But a good day for life’s tiny joys.

“’Today, a Facebook conversation led to a friend planning a visit,’ says Chelsey Christensen. They haven’t seen each other in more than a year, but on Tuesday, the friend posted a review of a play at the Kennedy Center. Now they are going to go see it together. That was good news.”

Washington City Paper Review of BOB

Date: June 8th, 2011

Bits of discarded Americana, in a good way
by Chris Klimek, Washington City Paper

About the show…
“Generosity and surprise abound, but director Derek Goldman has tapped deep wells of melancholy and insight, too.”

“… far from feeling indulgent or undisciplined, the play maintains a dancer’s grace and ease for the whole of its 105 intermissionless minutes.”

About Phil’s Girl…
“…a macro-scale martini, mixed over a makeshift slip-and-slide with statuesque Chelsey Christensen as the swizzle stick and burly Cliff Williams III as the—well, he gets to slide down the side of the martini glass, too.”
